ECS comes with new product from Black series, A890GXM-A V1.0 which uses Chipset AMD 890GX and in northbridge is powered by chipset SB850. With AMD chipset automatically this motherboard use onboard graphic, ATi Radeon HD4290. Now I am going to review this product which has price of US$131 and use Socket AM3.
In A890GSM-A has a new number of features for ECS such as heatsink type of heatpipe to cool a CPU power mofset and northbridge chipset so that the performance of this amd motherboard will be still stabil. This feature is called QoolTech III. Moreover, southbridge chipset is also protected by usual heatsink copper.
the another feature is switch onboard to on/off and reset button, there is also a feature called M.I.III which used to support a overclocking performance in this motherboard. In accorind to ECS website, there are also addtional features such as eJIFFY which used to booting quickly without harddisk (based on linux), eBLU to perform BIOS live update directly and easy, eDLU to perform update driver online.
The bundle of ECS A890GXM-A are User’s guide, hardware installation guide, DVD driver & application, user manual, 4x SATA cable, I/O shield. ECS give us guarantee as long as 5 years since you buy this amd motherboard.
My review in backpanel, in there is given a Port eSATA and the unique thing there is a four port display that can be used that is a HDMI, DVI, D-subm and display port. To remember you, because ESC uses AMD 890GX as chipset so you will get a integrated graphic, Ati radion HD4290.
According to my review, All performance of ECS A890GXM-A V1.0 is pretty good, In a benchmark test it can pass properly, But the performance of onboard VGA in 3dMark vantage GPU is not too good. My conlucion the review, this product has a long guarantee it makes a positive think but has less in equipment
