This AMD Motherboard by Asus comes from Republic of Gamers series, CrossHair IV formula has modernity features comparing the previous version. It uses AMD 890FX chipset and strengthened with Northbridge chipset SB850. and also has been used AM3 socket Ok In this article I am going to full review this product. The some new features which can be found on the Asus CrossHair IV Formula is heatsink type heatpipe with attractive color and shape. This heatpipe is used to cool South and Northbridge including PWM so it make sure the system work stability. The additional features in this AMD’s motherboard is swith onboard which more smarter besides the start and reset buttons, it is also provided the TurboV Evo button which can do overclocking fastly without changet the BIOS Setting or Overcloking setting with software. Yeah I think this Motherboard is best for overcloking purpose.
Not only that, in the switch onboard, there is a Core Unlocker button which is usefull to open extra core which provided by AMD, It means you don’t need to change setting in BIOS again. Another button is ROG connect where you can do tweaking to motherboard with your laptop.
Asus CrossHair IV Formula has also provided USB 3.0 port which has 10 more faster than USB 2.0. And also provided AM3 sokcet but can’t dual processor. This motherboard is created for overcloking purpose with many excellent features. The bundles of this Amd Motherboard are User guide, DVD driver and Application, 1 x ROG Connect cable, 1x bracket USB 2.0 and SATA, Asus Q-Connector, Crossfire Bridge, Cable ties and Q-Shield.
Overall, the performance of CrossHair IV Formula is excellent, All of benchmark can run properly, Even it is nor required BIOS upgrade, the price is pretty expensive, US$290. But it really best motherboard for Overcloking and gaming purpose. I suggest you to buy this Asus motherboard.
